I'm Ty. I am a local guy and native Oregonian and I'm running for Lincoln County Commissioner, position/seat 2 (currently occupied by Commissioner Claire Hall).  I hope I can earn your votes and together we can address the issues holding back our individual, but connected communities from being even better than they already are. I am new to politics and don't have a fancy team of professionals running my campaign for me. I do have a few great friends and an amazing wife who are helping me to figure out campaigning as I go. 

As I said, I'm not a politician and I don't plan on becoming one if elected. My approach is taking advantage of our collective knowledge to find what areas of improvement are needed.  By looking at what has been tried in the past to solve those issues, we can learn from our past and figure out how to improve. As I have talked with people across Lincoln County, I have learned of a few areas of improvement that have been neglected for far too long and have been  figuring out possible solutions with them.  I know many things are easier said than done but 4 years is a long time. I am not new to navigating government and my work history includes military, state and county employment, bureaucracy is not a new thing for me to navigate, but I always try to cut through it.
